Light has just arrived after a month since ordering.
A question to all those owner/users.
When you plug the light into the battery pack, does the light immediately go straight to full power illumination?
Once it's plugged in, I can cycle through the settings and turn it off, but it always starts on full power when I connect the battery.
Also how long is the cable?
yep mine goes straight to full power.
cable! same as yours probably (can't remember)
Yes it switches on when you plug it in, & my cables are around 18" long (non-helmet mounted version)

It seemed a bit strange that it powered up immediately, but if that's the way it's meant to be who am I to argue.
I know health and safety doesn't mean much in China, but it's a hell of a shock to be nearly blinded when you plug it in!!
On mine if you switch it to flash before you unplug it, when you replug you get a 1/4sec flash then it sets to off.
