10 spd bar end shifter, 10 spd sti's, are they the same cable pull.

I thought they were, but cant get em to sync.

DA 10 speed was the same cable pull as an MTB 9 speed mech (so works with a 9s mech and 10s cassette), but not a 10 speed MTB mech.

Different mate. I think Charlie has some bar end ones that will work from Microshift but could be wrong

No, they're not. The 10spd DA bar end shifters will work with a 9spd mtb mech, not a 10spd.

There is another way. There will be one of these that will do the job...

Edit...
A #6 will do the job...

No, just a 9s mech, it'll still be 10speed it's just the pull ratio in 10s mechs that's different.

Have you checked to see if the shifter can be changed to friction rather than index, iirc some of the older ones can by moving an adjuster

DA bar end shifters can be operated in friction mode, so no indexing, you just move the lever enough to operate the mech. You quickly get used to how much to move the lever.

Three options to go with your 10spd road shifter and 10 spd mtb cassette in order of extra expense:

Drill a hole in the arm of your 10spd mtb mech to route the cable and change the pull. http://www.huckingkitty.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=868[/*]

9spd mtb mech (no chance of a clutch)[/*]

Tanpan http://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/collections/derailleur-optimization/products/tanpan[/*]
I'd do the first.

You'd have to stand on a box!
