Had these super expensive cables fitted to my Sunday best bike last spring(bike only used for racing/decent weather)
Wheeled bike out today to pump tyres up and check over ...
Was out for few wet rides last year as you do but the brake cables now feel pretty stiff/notchy 🙁
I will remove inners and give them a squirt of lube to see if just bit gummed up ? They were silky smooth new but did notice they were stiffening up towards end of season ..
Anyway if new cables are needed what works for you folks ?

Std Shimano works well for me, I use gear inners sometimes for even more smoothness.

Nice one Al .. Was thinking the standard stuff will do the job just as well at a fraction off the cost 🙂
