I have a 2014 clockwork 29er ,was wondering if you can put a fork on with a tapered steerer .at present I've got manitou tower forks on ( straight steerer) with integrated headset .is there an external headset that can be fitted thus meaning one can run a tapered steered fork

I thought they came with tapered head tubes? You may just need a new lower cup. If they just used a 1 1/8 to 1.5" race you may net even need to do that.

Yep 44EC (44mm diameter,external cup).Hope mix and match for £30ish.
