Great to have some cycling back on the telly 🙂

A short 10k TT for stage 1. Good time by Phinney.

Looking forward to seeing a Cav and Renshaw reunion for the sprint finishes.

First sprint of the year for the big names. Great finish from Kittel, though not a great start for Cav. Might get another crack at it tomorrow, though there is a bit of a hill close to the finish.

Anyone actually interested in this..? 🙂

Anyway, should be a good decisive stage today. Fairly hilly and windy. May be a stage for Sagan. Be nice to see Phinney hold on to the end.

Eurosport coverage starts at 10am. Repeated at 10pm.

where the hell did he come from then?! nice take out

I loved sagan at the top of the climb, just hanging on and then just sits on the on tube over the top and cruised up to valverde with no effort 🙂

Yes I thought it was Sagan all the way with a few k to go, didn't think Kittle had hung on in there. Impressive stuff.

Aye Cav certainly has a real rival for the sprints and he may not be the missle anymore

Sagan is an impressive all round rider,

... though Cav has been written off at the start of pretty much every season for the past few years!
