[Closed] Dual suspension remote lock out lever replacement

Looking for a bit of advice please, I have a full suss XC bike which has a remote lever which locks out the front and rear suspension. It is a Fox bit of kit (poploc?), plastic with a push lever to lock out and a button on top to effect the release.

I don't really like it, too flimsy and not that assertive and as I tend to fall off occasionally I don't think it will survive my riding style!

Can anyone recommend another make which would be more robust and positive feeling?

Bike is a 2017 KTM Scarp Sonic if that helps any.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I have a Scott HT with the lock out, it seems much more robust than the Fox system. Will look into the Twinloc, am probably assuming too much that these components are compatible though!!

Keep going till you break it? Which fox one is it?

I'm not sure the Scott one will work as it's generally a dual position and the sonic fork & shock are either open or locked.

I doubt you'd break it JRA to be honest, but if you're a bit of a crash specialist is it not worth converting them both to non-remote, they are both pretty easy to reach.

One of the guys on the team has a sonic and AFAIK he removed the shock lockout as he didn't think it was necessary, and he's a lightening quick xc racer

Mike - not sure, it activates the most recent Fox shocks so I am assuming it is a standard part.

Thanks Steve, not so much bothered about the crashing as the lack of positivity with the lever, I think I will remove it as well. It seems a little cheap on a bike where the kit is high spec and well put together.

Must admit I find the bike fairly amazing, looked at, and demo'd loads of XC race bikes before going for the Scarp Sonic, got a very good deal from Col at FLi. Looking forward to my first XCM at Ten Under the Ben.

I think that sums up cable lock outs I'm afraid. I've got the RS hyrdoloc on my scarp but I've got a Monarch XX and RS1 forks, it's an awesome bit of kit and just works every time.
