I’ve got the opportunity to swap my DT Swiss XMC100 forks for some new XMC130. Having the longer travel fork will give me more choice of frame when I upgrade my old Orange Evo 2 in the near future. Is it possible to run excessive sag on the XMC 130 by reducing the air pressure so that I won’t be riding a chopper until I buy a new frame. I guess with lower air pressure the fork will tend to dive through it’s travel quicker, setting the compression & rebound may improve this enough to make them work o.k. Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated.
