The DT swiss rear wheel on the wife's anthem is feeling very rough so have been trying to overhaul it.

Got the technical manuals from the DT swiss site and they are very helpful EXCEPT where the freehub body is concerned. There is a bearing here in one end and a needle race in the other - the needle race is clearly designed to be replaced - but it looks like the freehuab bearing is not? I can't see how it can be removed - both ends seem too narrow for the bearing to fit through - are they replaceable? This bearing feels the most worn of the three bearings so I think it needs to be replaced.

Pry the rubber seal off.Remove big circlip.Push bearing out.Bare in mind that if there is any corrosion on the needle bearings then the freehub body (and castle part) will be pitted too and rough as a badgers arse even with new needle bearings.

Push bearing out- which way? Past the checkup? There is a lip there that it looks like the bearing can't go past.....

If it is pitted do you need to replace the entire freehub? Which freehuabs are compatible?

Thanks for info so far!
