As above ,what do you find effective, keeping em warm on winter commute as lanes ,roads are all water run run offs, or can be compared to riding a river of diluted slurry at times .
So smelly too and rots shoes n socks not to mention me feet .
I find my sealskinz do the job nicely, also woolie boulie's merino's for frosty mornings are effective for keeping your feet warm.
+1 for sealskinz. Also decent boots, over shoes, leg warmers over the top of your shoes, mudguards, going round puddles, etc. etc.
Waterproof shoes or overshoes + merino socks + waterproof tights than go over the top of the shoes/overshoes so that the rain doesn't get inside the shoes and fill them up.
Sealskinz, Assos winter longs with footloops over the socks and Endura Road Overshoes - the gimpy looking, tight neoprene ones. When they stopped being effective, I used to spray Juice Lubes Fork Juice over the neoprene - that kept the water beading off them nicely.
