[Closed] 'Dropper' seatpost on Anthem X?!

My wife has a nice light-ish Giant Anthem X and she's on about putting a RS reverb seatpost on it 😯 Personally, I think this'll look a bit bonkers with it being a XC bike, but since going on a skills course she's starting lowering her seat quite often. (anyway, what do I know, I'm just a saddo who won't fit crudguards on his bike, 'cos they don't look very nice 😀 ) I can see where she's coming from, as she sometimes finds it difficult to open and close the seatpost clamp and get the saddle alignment and height right.

Is anyone using one of these new Reverb seatposts, if so, are they any good, and is the actuation mechanism easy and reliable?

(my only experience with dropper posts is my cable actuated KS, which can be a complete PIA!)
