Hi all,
I have just sent back my Thomson dropper for the second time in the last 9 months. It developed a side to side play on both occasions and I have requested a refund from Merlin. Not sure of the chances of getting one but I don't really want another Thomson so assuming I have a choice I have been looking at the KS Lev. I really like the cable location but don't know much about them so has anyone got any opinions of them?
Alternatively anyone know of any other posts with a similar cable entry to the Lev? I saw a prototype Vecnum dropper at this years mega that looked pretty sweet but don't know when it's coming out ๐
I've got a Lev but I've only had it since March. So far it's not missed a beat. I clean it after every muddy ride and spray fork juice on it every now and then.
Got 2...barely clean them or maintain them (my bad)...but still work without issue
I've also got a Lev as it was the only decent dropper post in 27.2 diameter. I've had mine for over a year now and it hasn't missed a beat. There is a little side to side play but you can't feel it when you are riding. I really rate them.
Got one, a year in no problems. It's developing a slight bit of bush wear but I'm keeping an eye on it and working out what's involved in changing them. Feels the same as any reverb.
