Hi. I'm shopping for a dropper post and I'm considering the KS Lev model which has a lever under ones saddle to operate the mechanism.

I have a reverb on another bike with the remote button mounted on the bar which is useful although I don't like the feel of the button.

What are your experiences with remote button vs lever under saddle?

Thanks.

Run a decathlon dropper at the moment which has the lever under seat. Had a reverb prior to that.

Button on bars is best, hands down fact.

Ride new trails very often so rarely know what's coming up and often get caught out with having to slow down enough to get hand off bar to get post down. It's a little annoying.

EDIT: Not the end of the world though. If the savings are big enough I'd go seat activated again. This post was £35. I'd have another in a heart beat for that price again.

Haha thanks! I suspected that might be the answer. I'm quite particular about seat height as well!

X-fusion Hilo has a both options.
If you like to swap seats it's useful.
Otherwise, see above.
