Dislocated my thumb pressing the button!

It's mounted on the left, over the top. Think I mounted it rotated too slightly too far forward, hence you have to press quite hard to get it to actuate. Combine that with hitting a bump..... Quite painful but thumb popped back in straight away.

Am I the only one to do this?

I haven't injured myself but I find Reverb buttons too small and slippy. I used Sugru to make a big round grippy button, seems to work so far...

I'd like to get a very small hydraulic brake lever and use that instead of the Reverb button.

the buttons work much better under the bar than above it

The Reverb lever does seem pretty damn stiff, hope it grows on me. I don't think I'm going to maim myself mind.

It's not stiff. It's hydraulic actuated if it's that stiff you are dislocating a thumb there's a fault!
