Grrr.. this is proving hard, I need a 27.2mm diameter dropper post and want a 150mm drop. Seems the usual brands (Brand X) don't do longer than 105mm in this size, there are a few but they are >£200. Anyone know of a reasonably priced 150mm?
After much searching, the longest I could find at a reasonable price, was a KS one with 125mm drop.

Id say so.
I think they're also just rare. Outside of oddball steel frames (mostly a UK thing), most bikes are 30.9 or wider
I went through this a while back trying to find something for my gravel bike. Best I could find was the PNW Rainier post - 125mm drop and about £120 in a sale, dropper lever was another £35 or so. Great hit of kit tbf but would have liked more drop.
I was looking for the same & a Brand X 105mm from Chiggle arrived today
I couldn't find anything over 125mm and for the reviews & price (extra 10% off at the moment) plus needing external routing, the Brand X seems like best dollar for drop
