Just received the call from orange I was dreading.
Patriot 66 I bought off fleabay a few weeks ago has cracked behind the swingarm shock mount, orange won't repair due to it's age (fair enough) so I need to find someone who will do the repair, maybe plate it? Be better still if they could do the powder coat I originally was after as well.
So any experiences of recommendations. In Hampshire if that helps
won't/can't they sell you a replacement swingarm?

They can't sell me one or one that would fit, i guess due to the age ofthe design, and it was indeed the green one. Reckon you dodged a bullet there if you were a fellow bidder
Any good Fab shop should be able to Tig weld Ali, the main problem will be jigging it so it doesn't move when it cools down. I would bolt a plate to it first then get it welded, hoping the plate stops any movement. You have nothing to lose.
