Just fitted an old HT2 bb in a new frame and its dragging real bad. with full force it'll only spin for 1.5 revs. No tight spots, just constant dragging.
It hasn't been used in a while but its not seized (could rotate the bearings by hand prior to fitting).
Will it free up or is it shagged?

reckon you overtightened the preload cap - back that off a quarter.half turn & see how you go

tried that - no better, just as bad with non-drive side crank removed.

try it without the sleeve in the middle.
