Prosecution would be a tad harsh i think. I can understand the fact that its a SSSI but considering riding there isnt really affecting anybody that much. Right to roam I say.

Wherever appropriate following a successful prosecution, we will apply to the court to
make a formal restoration order. This will order the offender to restore the damaged
area of the SSSI to its condition before the offence was committed (at the offender’s
own expense).

ha - the rozzers have been trying to stop people riding there for as long as ive been riding (10 years), its an awesome little area to ride - i miss it now ive moved away.

if i was still living in the area i'd still ride it.

I smell horseshizz that spot is full of motorbikes most of all at weekends.
It's been there for years, I first went there in 1986/87 on my motorbike, it is a good spot for mtb too.
The police have been trying to stop bikers for years without much sucsess, the thing is the locals recently held a downhill race which must have pi55ed the local residents off.
Don't think the threats will stop people riding there.
