The Air Balloon pub? Maybe the DH stuff at Lecky Hill?

But yeah, a little more info would help, you're not charged per word typed...

Sorry IHN, it was just an overhead conversation and didn't like to but in (I was dowloading) Lecky hill sounds like it.

Thanks

No probs. In which case, use the carpark on Daisybank Lane. As to where the actual runs are I can't help, because I'm too much of a big jessie to attempt them.

There is a bit of a code of conduct agreement up there though, something to be aware of.

Also be careful that you don't get followed home. Daisybank is the acknowledged hotspot in Cheltenham for tea leaves to follow you home and nick your pride and joy.

maybe try and attract as much attention as possible then, lead them away from us!!

trails are pretty easy to find. From the carpark, push up the tramway (obvious steep, straight doubletrack) to the middle plateau, then push up the obvious track above that.

As you get to very near the top, you'll see a track crossing the path from right to left. Push up the bit to the right and you're on the start ramp. Ride down that and follow your nose, there are plenty of tracks down from there; I won't try to describe them all, but *very* roughly speaking, follow the left forks for an easier line and the right forks for harder (and jumpier) lines.

Those will take you back to the middle plateau, from where you can head down a couple of tracks to the left of the tramway (looking down the hill) which lead to a bowl with a few jumps in, or some others on the right of the tramway which lead to some bigger (and some huge) jumps and step downs.

Enjoy, and be nice to the walkers!

Dave

and be nice to the walkers

I think that's the key to the code of conduct. There are a lot of people/walkers/families using the hill, so just keep your wits about you.

Ah, walkers...fair enough...I though that I was liable to get a kicking from the local chavs or something.

I am always polite around walkers/horses!

Thanks for all the help

The DH tracks do cross footpaths, so be aware, well used footpaths!

Urban myth (that that's where the word came from, not that 'Nam has chavs)

I know, but Cheltenham certainly has more than its fair share of Chavs! at least the council have been kind enough to create the Arle Farm Ghetto amd try and ship them out of the rest of town.
