Need to sort some double glazing and I have no idea where to start or what to expect. Any tips, recommendations (I'm in Hebden Bridge, Calderdale), warnings, and very rough idea of likely options/costs? Ta v much.

We used Coral Windows for the old house. Were professional and decent price.

Probably a bit far out but we used these guys, we're in Kirklees;

Only people we have used/got quotes from that didn't cock about with inflated rates and special discounts, just an honest price first time. Wasn't the cheapest, wasn't the most expensive.

If you've sash windows, and you're looking to keep the original frames, but update the glass - give Rod a shout: http://dandcbespokejoinery.webs.com/

Nice chap - did our front windows - but has a big waiting list at certain times of the year.

Cheers for these - please keep them coming. And yes, we've currently got sash windows. Whether or not we keep them will depend partly on costs I reckon. I think it costs a lot to have nice double-glazed sashes installed.
