Hi
I'm running a 22/36 ring set up. Does anyone know if an xt double front mech will work with this big a jump between the rings? It's the E type one I need for my zesty, and it says 12T max, but wondered if this was really the case??

I use a 3x9 XT E-type with my SLX 36/22 with no problems at all on my 2011 Yeti 575, works perfect. Just had to screw in the top stop screw to compensate for lack of big ring

You will be fine.
E-type will only work properly with a 32-44 middle-large though.
The mech's height is fixed by the bracket and will properly shift from 32 up to a 44. If you have a 34 and a large ring that is not 44 you will be in trouble.
