[Closed] DOT 5.1 Fluid, how long does it last?

I believe it gradually absorbs moisture from the air if not in an air-tight container, but if stored properly it should be ok

Thanks joao3v16, only used a 1/4 of the bottle, no harm in trying the stuff I guess?

i would use it it does absorb water but the container will be relatively air tight so i would not be massively concerned

I would use it in for a mountain bike, but for a car I would buy fresh, partly to avoid the hassle of doing it again, mainly as I wouldn't want my brake pedal going spongy halfway down a steep hill!
