I was warned, once, to keep it out of direct sunlight.

No real idea why, and I can't say I've heeded the advice much...

A bit of helicopter tape on the areas where you'll get cable rub.

do enjoy it
Dont worry about all those pictures you have seen off carbon you have seen that fracture and snap for no apparent reason and without warning ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I have one nothing just ride it- its an one you would need to wrap the whole frame in tape to protect that shitty paint job

Don't use grease touching carbon, use carbon paste instead

Otherwise thrash the life out of it ๐Ÿ™‚

I made the decision not to worry/care about mine, ride it like U stole it

I broke my first carbon frame after about 2 weeks. Got it swapped under warranty. Have had the current one about 3 years and treated it just like any other bike. In fact, I've probably been more aggressive on it.

Do: ride it like you stole it

Don't: hammer in nails with it

Hammer it, but get some helitape and do anything that will attract cable rub etc. I missed a couple of bits on mine and have taped the rest of it, though I have seen serious cable rub damage on alu frames too.

Watch cable rub, as said - my Enduro has cable routing under the BB and the front mech cable has worn a bit of a groove.

Other than that, I treat it like any other bike.

if you must hit it, hit it only with the ball end of a ball peen hammer.

Cheers guys
I'm getting it fitted with the Invisiframe kit and it comes with a DT stoneguard ( which might get another fitted over the top). Then it's getting ridden in accordance with the above advice
