[#4627423]

I just got knocked off on my morning commute by a German Pointer.

I was emerging from a fence and hedge-lined path into an open area of park, and never even saw the creature until he slammed into me.

The tough little canine just got up and carried on running, but left me down with cuts and bruises.

Aren't you supposed to get angry and post stereotype comments about dog owners when that happens?

To be fair, I think the owner was as surprised as I was. I was more shocked than angry, and when he asked me if I was okay, I distinctly remember thinking through the whole scene and realising that there was nothing that could have prevented it. A genuine accident.

A lead could have prevented it?

Yes, without a doubt a lead could have prevented it. I can't believe I'm defending a dog owner, but the fact is, he was letting his dogs run in a large open field; and if I was the owner of a couple of German Pointers, I would have done exactly the same thing as he was doing.

Fail - I'm desperate to submit something witty and mildly stereotypically racist, just can't think of anything. This post is screaming out for it.

This incident would have been enhanced had the hound tried to make sweet beautiful love to you as you struggled to get up, or even if you had tried to make sweet beautiful love to the hound, owner or anyone else in the park; but as it is, meh!

If he's perambulating he can't be pedalling. But, otherwise, 9/10.

perambulating present participle of perยทamยทbuยทlate (Verb)
Verb
Walk or travel through or around (a place or area), esp. for pleasure and in a leisurely way.
Walk from place to place; walk about.

I doubted my knowledge of the word perambulate and checked teh interwebz. I'm pretty chuffed with 9/10 though ๐Ÿ˜€ I guess bold type is asking for scrutiny, I thought it would be more tabloidy.
