Set off tonight straight after work for a quick spin on the cx, only planned on an hours or so, but as id left work a little late by the time i got out there it was almost dark! and had no lights with me..
Then the realisation kicked in that i either had to go through the trails through the woods which would be like night time or brave the fast roads a272 with no lights to get home...
went for the woods option which i thought wood be the safest, and as it turned out it was.
Also ran across 2 guys on mtb with bright lights coming the other way which must have thought i was some kind of psycho in the woods with no lights on a cx but i pulled over and said hello as couldnt see where i was going, all good after my night vision returned.
hit a few ruts and got tangled in some branches going across the trails but survived.
a272 trails near wonston/crawley tonight if it was anyone on here
proper fun ride though but could have gone all wrong

Don't even have to wait until it goes dark, just shut your eyes and ride. 😀
hehe, was touch and go for a moment near the end and was nearly extreme pushing a bike through the woods!
must find them lights, i know there are still packed in a box somewhere from a recent move.
