No, no the USB, the other one. Went straight through a Schwable Marathon Plus tyre. Can't say I've ever had anything quite so bad before. Can anyone beat that ?

Had a 6" nail that went sideways through the rear tyre and made a horrible noise as it was hitting the chain/seatstays with each revolution. Amazingly when I pulled it out the Stans sealant sealed both holes and no damage had been down to the rear triangle.

I've ran over one of those!
Was it the rear wheel? Usually the front end kicks them up, and they stab into the rear wheel.

On a similar note, I also ran over a screw - which was worse. It upended itself and stabbed straight into the tyre - hitting the inside of the rim, right through the tube and out the other side... and I had to unscrew it from the casing of my conti gatorskins. I still have that tyre on my bike!
I've taken about 20 shards of glass out of each of those tyres, on a regular basis. Not the heaviest tyre either - worth it for how puncture proof they are...

They use a monster bradawl thing in one of the stan's videos and it fixes up fine, looks like 1 cm or something

No kidding !

Yeah, it was the rear wheel, I was dodging speed bumps, so taking the narrow 3" gap between the kerb and the end of the bump, so right in the gutter. Don't normally get puntures, so been putting off tubeless, but summer commuting = canal towpath which = lots of thorns from the hedges. ๐Ÿ˜ก

Maybe I should look into the Stans converter kit.
