I'm staying in Afan in a couple of weeks time and whilst hopefully visiting Brechfa, am also considering a longer detour to do the Doethie Valley. Can anyone advise what tyhe Doethie Valley will be like in the rain? (I expect it will rain) Is it worth the detour? The articles I've read suggest it is.

def worth the effort. You will get mucky in the wet, but it's not claggy.
