Enema's are pretty good, never tried surgery.

Is that a gravity dropper?

Yes, Gravity Dropper with 1" and 4" drop. It cracked at the hole for the 1" position. It is very old, more than ten years and has had a few moderate crashes. I came down a fire road at probably 20 mph and hit a washout about 4" deep. Nothing major, just rough XC type of stuff. Heard it and felt it go. The hole for the 1" drop is really badly located to be right at the point of maximum stress. I've replaced it with a Reverb. If I bought another Gravity Dropper, I'd get one without the 1" middle option.
