[#11364239]

Looking for some fork mounts to mount my bike to in the new van, was thinking of using some old hubs.

However we will potentially be carrying 2 x 15mmm through axle non boost bikes, or 1 x 15mm through axles non boost & 1 x boost (probably 2 x boost if I buy a new bike) or 2 x 9mm road bikes.

Rather than bolting a million options to the floor are there any mounts that do it all?

Or other ideas for holding the bikes...

The seasucker HUSKE mounts will handle what you are after; however they are not cheap I'm afraid. There was a thread on here not to long ago that mentioned a company doing fork mounts on FB - I think they had insert options IIRC ?

[Edit]
These ones: Bikeracks

Pendle did a single mount with optional spacers, you bought the clamp (attached to a roof rack, but may be available as a single piece), then buy whatever spacers you are needing for the fork combos you have.

Alternatively, can you mount a workbench clamp to the sides of the van and clamp the frames?

I've spent the past few months deliberating this, and eventually have bitten the bullet and bought the rocky mounts HM - they are expensive, but all the reviews are excellent, and the fact they open up, rather than having to align the axle etc is a big selling point for me.

Cheapest place I could find them in the UK was: https://cjlleisure.co.uk/product/rockymounts-locking-driveshaft-hm-bolt-on-carrier-for-12-15-20mm-thru-axle/

Those Racked things look good. How on earth do you actually buy them?

I would rate the Rocky Mounts HM mentioned above. Solid construction and easy to use... lockable as well. Not the cheapest but they come with different inserts for different axle sizes.

I’m getting a pair from Racked as per @stevehine ‘s link. I guess might be my thread?

If you message on Facebook he’ll get back to you for buying. He’s made up a new adapter based on my measurements for an On One Fatty fork.

The Rockymounts look excellent and I was tempted, I might regret not buying them.

I made my own ones some time ago,

but these ones but should work with, boost, non boost, road...
its neccessary to mount them on a piece of wood or metal to get them higher so

https://www.bike24.com/p2305656.html

quite expensive but well made..
