So I bought a big bottle of Race sealant two years ago, there is about half left, is it still usuable??
Did realise the sealant needed replacing every few months in the tire, I’ve gone two years without a puncture so guessing there will be little left in each wheel.
I'm a tubeless newbie who is also using Stans Race Sealant. I thought I'd check my tyres after six month and the sealant was still nice and runny and there was plenty of it as well. I pulled a thorn out and it sealed the hole as well. The stuff in a sealed bottle will be fine.
Open the bottle, pour some out - if there's one big congealed lump, it ain't usable. If not, fine.
If it's been kept well sealed and in a cool place, it should last years.
I (accidentally) left a bottle on a southish facing window ledge for a week or two without the top properly closed.
It wasn't usable after that. Except as a slightly rubbery hammer.
Probably, just give it a really good shake and make sure it hasn't settle out with all the solids at the bottom.
