I'd like to use a top cap mount for the garmin, but it's a 1.5" straight steerer. Does anyone know if they exist? Google isn't helping...

Don't want an out front mount as it's my bikepacking bike and there's no room with the bar bag.

Cheers

Nukeproof do one but I'm not sure if it's 1 1/8" only.

Could you use an out front mount, backwards?

I just fitted a superstar loop mount (1 1/8th only) and it's rubbish, the mount doesn't have a positive latch so when you push the buttons the GPS swivels.

I reverse the out front mount when i've got my bar bag on. It tilts it slightly forward but works ok

Thanks for the replies. I've tried the reversed out front mount but a combination of steep head angle and 90'stem means the angle of the garmin makes it unreadable.

I'll try Racewear Direct, but I've been in the shed this afternoon playing about with the existing top cap, plus a 1 1/8" mount and spacer I think I've made something that'll work. I'll know tomorrow when the epoxy has set...

Go well!
