There was a post a while ago, did anyone work it out ?

Is it not 30 from the rim name? Or is that the actual width of it?

That'll be the rim width (external or internal) or maybe depth (more usually on aero road wheels). ERD is the 'effective rim diameter' - needed for calculating spoke length.

If 30mm is internal width then probs 34-36mm at a guess.

What bike did it come on?
Whyte have a pretty comprehensive back catalogue of spec sheets with all the bearing and hanger codes etc. May well state rim ERD as well.
