beaware of buying cheap...

bought a pair of schwalbe tubeless ready tyres last year from next day tyres and had no problems sealing them on either mavic cross trails or 819 rims and they held their pressure for months with the reccommended amount of sealant, great!
come last winter, got an email from a certain retailer about half price schwalbe t.l.r tyres so bought some dirty dans and although i did get them to seal after a couple of attempts (inc co2) they would not hold their pressure and after pumping up to 40psi ish at night would constantly be down to 20 psi by the morning regardless of the fact of using plenty of fluid and the correct instilation techniques.

so, i put up with this for the winter and a few months ago i purchased some more[u] tlr schwalbe tyres from the same shop (i know...) for the up and coming summer, again attracted by a much cheaper price than most on line reatilers.
funny old thing, tyres sealed ok after a few attempts but would lose pressure over night after pumping up to 40 -50 psi the night before.
so, be aware of buying cheap or "on offer" tyres as i think they could be fakes or seconds...
the more worrying fact is that the shop in question also sell bikes and bike related products cheaper than most or half price, on offer etc...!

anyway, anyone else had problems with schwalbe tubeless ready tyres losing pressure overnight regardless of using plenty of fluid and the correct instilation techniques etc....
if so, could we have bought them from the same place....

I got 2 tubeless ready Rons from next day tyres

the first took days to seal probably about 20 inflations with repeated leaks from tiny side wall defects but do seem ok now

the second tyre went up and stayed up first time.

Pumping them up to a high psi (anything over 30 IMO) can make it harder for the tyre to seal in my experience. Pump to the pressure you'll actually use then see if it holds.

Nope... Bought some cheapy Schwalbe tlr tyres, inflated first time, sloshed the sealant around and they're staying up no bother. That's one on a Stan's rim and one on a ghetto Halo jobbie
