As title this bike is as dodgy as hell so please avoid it.......
http://m.pinkbike.com/buysell/1818094/
I wouldn't buy that even if it was legit
Why?
Why?
Why is it dodgy or why wouldn't I buy it?
Wrong size.
Just trust me it's as dodgy as can be.
Don't get it. Price is fine, spec is pretty standard, so what am I missing?
the seller maybe?
I like the colour
Cheers for the heads up, I have been looking for one of them, hopefully with it being dodgy the price will be very negotiable.
It's a bike that Renton owned so I think what he is saying is that the bars will be way too high and the position genuinely ridiculous.
(someone has nicked his photos and ad and so it's a scam, is that right Renton? If so why not just say so?)
Ahh. That makes more sense.
I can't say a lot at the moment as there is someone that has put a deposit on it.
Munrobiker has hit nail on head though.
Is it cos his slabs could do wiith weeding?
You mean my slabs Rob .....
๐
You can't expect him to come round and sort your garden out renton - lazy get ๐
I can't see anything dodgy?
Just looks like some moron bought a bike that was the wrong size judging by the seatpost
I've just bought it. Cheap. Renton - can you let me know when I can pop by to collect?
ta.
Ok I got an email off a very confused lad saying the following......
Hi there,
Bit of a random one but I bought a bike (rather I paid a 250 deposit for a bike) exactly the same as yours... infact, your actual bike! from another site - i believe it has been duplicated.
Can you confirm this at all?
Where abouts are you based?
Here's the link : http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1818094/
I feel a bit stupid obviously. If you could get back to me soon asap to i can report this guy that'd be great.
Kind regards,
They are pics of my old trance but they were taken before I upgraded it with new forks etc.
Bit weird eh ?
too many spacers to be legit
I can't say a lot at the moment as there is someone that has put a deposit on it.Munrobiker has hit nail on head though.
Then don't fanny about as if the bike doesn't exist there's no reason why the bloke won't keep on taking deposits!
That's not great for the guy that contacted you, at least he didn't part with the full amount!
