Most Sundays GF, Immy(In trailer)and myself ride to the Chase and back (15 miles)using the back roads scenic route. When we get there Sascha is to tired to even do a lap of the Follow the dog as she tows the trailer with Immys bike strapped to it so to overcome her tiredness I have stripped her Full Suss and sorted her out with a hardtail now surely she cannot moan she has no energy left.
Bike is a surprise when she gets back home tonight 3 nights of swearing in a darkened shed so she could not see it
Back brake needs rerouting and needs bar plugs

Chopped off the brake bosses scary as job!
Before she gets to the Chase. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow, I would be furious if my gf stripped my bike and re-built it without asking, guess you know your other half well enough not to expect problems.. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

The cheaper option would have been for someone else to tow the trailer, of course......

So you have downgraded her bike without her knowledge.

How does this address the problem?
Why don't you tow the trailer?

If this is really the reason you have done this it is the most flawed piece of reasoning I have seen for quite a while...

That's a nice looking bike - never seen that frame in a small before - very nice! Seatpost looks about right to me, but hey what do I know. Eitherway - she does look very chuffed! (Seriously though, why don't you pull the trailer?!)

Tis a tad long might swop it with her other one on her Cotic ss.
She seemed happy enough when she went for a quick spin, need to train her up on using the allen keys so she can make some adjustments ๐Ÿ™‚

Ah, I see!... Your wife cares for the life of her child... makes sense.

That berm shot is wicked though! I feel inspired - when we have kids I think we'll be getting one of those little trailers - my hubby will definitely be doing the towing though! (although we may have to duck tape the kid in!)

Nice one, you're not alone. My Mrs insists on pulling the trailer with our 3 and 1 yo in it! Mad I tell ya! The amount of comments you get about being a lazy bugger, she calls it training!!
