Why would SRAM (who own Avid) want you to mount someone else's shifters to their brakes? As far as I know none are available.

Spacings are prettty much identical on Hope Tech levers to Avid Elixirs, so whilst they won't match in colour/shape, they will do the job.

Yip, Hope Matchmakers Tech work perfectly - I fitted some last night to my elixir 5s to mount my SLX shifters. Hope are now also doing black so its not even that noticeable.. Got mine from http://www.cyclesportsuk.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=9244

Would anybody be kind enough to measure the distance between the two clamp bolts?

I think they may fit my stroker trail brakes......
