The nut that goes in and tightens is bent. Can i get another or do I buy a new one?

it's probably a standard thread you could just get something with a hex head to do the job for 10p at local hardware store?

He doesn't currently have any stock, but should be able to order some in from Ison (have stock according to the link above have stock - they are the Surly distributor)...
Or any LBS who have an account with Ison should be able to order.
You could bodge it with a bolt of the same pitch but you'll need to find a way of keeping the "bit" against your dropouts.
