As above I know advantage 2.25 work, now thinking about a 2.4 for the front and 2.25 for the back.
Anyone use this!

2.4 Advantages come up really quite mahoosive, if that makes a difference.
Edit: fine for front, as you're planning on. Can be a bit of a squeeze in the back end (ooh-err).

I have a 2.4 advantage on the front of my bike, and a 2.4 ardent on the back. seems to work ok. i was considering both like you when i bought my tyres, so got 1 of each. the advantage is just slightly bigger, and the ardent has a slightly rounder cross section profile. if this is any help
