As per the title really. The black race matchmaker clamps seem to come in XTR, XT/Saint or Sram flavours. So is it fair to assume that they wont work with SLX shifters?

I'm pretty sure you can. If not with a bit of fettling make them work...the chassis of the shifters is quite similar accross the range .
Although I've not actually tried it with SLX I currently run an old LX shifter on a matchmaker.

mine do I used the xt ones i think with race evo levers and slx shifter
