I do wonder sometimes if i've been influenced into becomming a stw stereotype.
Third five in a row
Hope brakes
reverb
Vw t5 van
coffee machine
But then i just get on and enjoy myself and think actually they were bloody good choices.
So, does anyone meet all four stereotypes? ( Five, Audi, Gaggia and career in IT)
I think that if I personally met a person displaying any one or more of those characteristics I would be instantly copiously and vociferously ill..

The 2011 (?) model with the slacker angles and dropper post compatible seat tube pretty much made my mind up
Mines a 2009 and whats that sticking out the seat post? ๐
Not a Five but I do own an Alpine 160 and a Carb-O road bike. Plus I used to have a Sub Zero and a G4 too. Wouldn't have any other bike, I know they're over priced for what they are but hand on heart I can honestly say that my Alpine is the best bike I've ever owned. Apart from my original pre-Trek buyout Bontrager.
I drive a Volvo and use an espresso pot...
Yunki, I look forward to meeting you in 2013.
Yep ,2012 5 with hope kit
No Audi, a caddy
Coffee machine a Dualit
No job in IT
Yunki, I look forward to meeting you in 2013.
I envisage multiple noxious excreta
I have a Five, I ride it all the time, I drive a Berlingo and I know sweet FA about IT.
I drink Tea that I brew in a cup.
I don't own a Five, don't drink Coffee, don't work in IT and don't own a car. Does that mean I get banned from STW?

maybe.
I do have a car but I don't have a wood burner. Am I banned too?

As a contender for thread of the year I think you are pretty safe. How is the nuclear bunker sorry I mean shed coming along?

Sorry, I meant to say proper dropper seatposts. Not two tubes with a spring in between them ๐
Second 5 in a row.
2009 with lots of hope goodness.
Bike not used anywhere near as much as it should.
No coffee machine as I live in Turin.
525 estate wagon sports tourer in the uk. Fiat in Italy.
Not in IT but make alot of xls sheets and powerpoints.
Got a 5 (2008 frame)
Drive a Signum ( thats a Vauxhall! )
I'm a Kettle and Yorkshire tea bags kind of guy

I have a 5, I love love love it.
I don't drive an Audi.
I don't own any coffee machine.
I don't work in IT.
I don't often ride the Surrey Hills.

Cue Monty Pythonesque, "are there any women here?" montage.......
Thankfully I am not fitting the Five stereotype although I got my Five AM with full Hope Tech Evo V4 brakes (but no spare bloody pads from online suppliers but thats another thread),and its Violet (well purple but thats her name), I used to drive a Passat estate, but now have a Honda CRV with all the leather and toys and an auto gearbox, lazy luxury. And I have two coffee makers in the cupboard and use neither as Milicano is just as good and easier with no faffage. IT? Fncking computers using them for this stuff is taxing enough!
So to sumarise I am a lazy coffee drinking colour blind almost pensioner. ๐
At the time of writing I own 5 oranges... [plus 2 satsumas and 4 apples]
Cue Monty Pythonesque, "[s]are there any women here[/s] various innuendo and blatent sexual references?" montage.......
FTFY - it is STW, home of the man and land of the randy.
No five,
No Audi,
No coffee,
No IT Job
No riding in the surrey hills... much ๐

Some of my best friends ride 5s
Aw shucks, thanks Tom.
Actually, as a quick count-up, I make it eleven Fives now amongst our lot.
Yep.
But I drive a Mini not an Audi so that makes it ok....
Yep,
I too have a Five (2012 Five AM).
Don't drive an Audi (but it is a VW. Does the fact it has carpet in the back count me in for the hairdresser/IT award still ๐ )
I take photos for a living and don't own a coffee machine.....yet

FULL HOUSE!!!!
Does that make flange "king of STW" for 2013??
AND I own a rigid 29er, a cross bike and I'm currently cultivating a beard. Surely that gives me the title....

If you've built your own workshop / bike shed then the title is yours....
Ok, one last question before we give you the crown:
Rate your flouncing skills, from 1 to 10???
That would be apt if the king of STW was called flange, would that make us a bunch of f&nn13s
rupertpostlethwaite, he's yer man
Most of these guys do, and they're rough as assholes! ๐
Out goes your stereo typing!
I think my mate can claim top trumps on this one........owns a 5, is an IT Manager, and drives a 'white' new Audi A4! However, he does not like coffee.............
Have a five, have a gaggia, drive a 12 yr old vectra, never ridden the surrey hills and thankfully do not work in IT.
I ride a five (2005 vintage). Drive a passat estate. Have a coffee machine but no idea what make, not gaggia though. I'm a civil engineer. And i'm planning on putting a wood burning stove in my new house. So i'm getting there!

And have a log burner. Which pushes me a step closer too.
Five
work in IT
VAG estate
coffee machine (Krups though)
and TWO log burners. And a log pile.
I also have a singlespeed and a beard and live in Calderdale.
Don't use Strava though and have never ridden in the [s]Surrey Hills[/s] flat south.
