Looking for a hollowtech 2 crank for my road bike which has 8 speed shimano kit on it.
Does such a thing exist? Is 8 speed road kit compatible with 9 speed road kit (or 8 or 9 sp MTB kit?)

Sora is ht I think and 9 speed or 10 will work anyway.
Edit: sora is 9spd but v cheap at ribble.

just get a normal HT2 and space out the rings to suit 8spd spacing.

No need to space anything, a Sora chainset will work just fine as it comes.
