I had one and it was just ok. Took a chance on it, because it was at a similarly bargainous price as the auction you've picked out.

However, the remote quickly got stiff and the remote lever is a bit short so took a lot of force to activate. Once it got clogged up with grime, and on a cold wet ride, it was too stiff to operate with my thumb.

I also had it fitted to carbon bars and I was a bit wary of overtightening it. As a result it seemed to slip quite often.

If you're prepared to take the time keeping it smooth and accept its cheap for a reason then it'll do the job.

However, I'd say a second hand X-Fusion Hilo would be a better bet and you should be able to get one for about the same price.

I can't remember certainly but I didn't use it for long enough for it to go any more wobbly than the X-Fusions I've had or the KS one I also had briefly come to think of it. I think the post itself got a bit scratchy though when dirty.

Where are you based? Cos, how easy will warranty issues be if you have to send it back from UK to Australia?

I think the KS post would be a much better option even secondhand.

The remote issues made it horrible to use when it started to seize up on a ride. You just wouldn't want to use it and that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?
