I've just ordered/bought/won/highest-biddered a couple of 14" Ex[alt] frames and wondered if anybody on here had had one. I'm wondering what to expect if/when they get built up really, other than 'a bicycle' that is, obviously ๐Ÿ˜€

14"

A small bicycle.

Why'd you buy 2?

Dunno. I panicked I suppose. I bought one now (frame with forks) while was bidding on the other and it's rude not to pay for stuff you bid on ๐Ÿ˜†

Honestly, - expect it to be heavy.

I meant expect both frames to be heavy especially if ridden together.

Expect back pain ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice frames, get some monster forks and you'll be well away. Not much chance you'll break one, so no need for a spare ๐Ÿ™‚

Bombproof. Heavy. Had an exalt a few years back, initially ran it as a 4x bike with 120mm forks and hated it. Swapped out to 160mm lyric's and it was transformed. A real monster of a bike for hitting DH tracks and big jumps. Even did some xc on it with a 500mm Blackspire seat post... Not that I'm suggesting that was a good idea, it was 37lbs...

Cromoly steel equivalent of the banshee morphine.

Good frame for budget hard tail dh racing and freeriding

Have fun!
