I have just fitted a dropper post to my bike and to get the cable routing better at the front would like to swap the dropper cable and the rear brake hose over in the holes they come out of the frame.
Is the brake likely to need bleeding if I do this or is there a way of doing it to prevent bleeding.
Brake is a shimano deore.

you can get away with it if you're careful, separate from the calliper end rather the lever, and get your finger over the end sharpish. I've used a eye dropper to plop a couple of drops into the hose as I've reconnected and it's generally ok.
It's the lever end I would need to swap though and the rest is internally routed.
I swapped mine over from us style without needing to bleed! No noticeable difference after!
Renton slightly pump out the pistons after removing the pads . Then disconnect the hose .reconnect and then gently push the pistons back in and it will push any air up the reservoir which can escape itself. Remember to pump the pistons out a smidgen as that's enough to shift any air back up and out.
