Hi All,
First post from a long time lurker.

At the week end my Shimano disc brakes were being strange, I wondered if anyone on here had experienced that and had some clues as to how to deal with it.
At the bottom of longish descents the pads were tightening onto the discs as if the lever was partly depressed. It wasn't clamp tight but would prevent the (back) wheel turning freely. After a few minutes it was back to normal and the brakes worked perfectly.
It happened twice, both time on the back brake.
Any clues?
Cheers

Has the bike been inverted recently? Sometimes it's down to air which would ordinarily settle in the reservoir migrating to the callipers and hoses.

It travelled on its side in the car and is generally stored vertically (front wheel up) in the shed.
Sounds like a simple bleed should solve it? It felt like it should be a temperature-related issue.
