I'm toying with the idea of upgrading to a bigger front rotor but am becoming increasingly confused by the number of different adapters available. I currently have a Juicy 5 caliper (74mm post mount I think) with the stock adapter (to fit 160mm rotor) on my MX Pro forks (IS mount).
Can someone please tell me in idiot-proof fashion what I need to go from this setup to something that will fit a 180mm rotor? Would a Hayes 7" be alright? My maths says that's 177.8mm which sounds close enough to get away with, right?
Avid 7" discs are actually 185mm. The adaptor you need is this:

Avid Mount Adaptor Front IS 185mm, £6.99.
Hope that helps.
OK, you need one of these, it'll mount a 74mm caliper to an IS fork, and you'll need a 185mm disc (cos that's the size Avid use)
Thanks guys, have got my order in
