What's the best area to go to for a 2-3 day xc riding trip in october???
(i live on south downs) so something different would be good - any recommendations? Afan is currently topping the list - but I'm open to any and all suggestions.

I'm doing similar in november (hopefully with a mate if your reading this mr C 😉 ) and have opted for the trail centre route for convenience. I'm heading to afan for the friday afternoon and saturday then an hour down the road to Brechfa for the sunday.
Afan is very good and i've heard good things about Brechfa but i'm yet to go. Sounds like a good weekend to me.

We did a long weekend at Afan last october/november I think. Was good fun.
