Can anyone recommend/advise on where to get a 240v to 12v mains to cigerette lighter power pack type thing I can use with my Dirtworker?

i use a car battery charger and one of those cigarette lighter sockets i got off ebay for a couple of quid

depends on the age, as the older one have an 8amp inital draw, which is too much for most powerpacks available.
Otherwise if you have the newer type, any old one should work fine, as they only require 6amp's.
Just check the rating before you buy...
