I subscribe and I've been sent the last couple for free.

I'm not a big fan of the 'bike parts as porn' format but it has its uses. They're going to be amazing to look back at in 15-20 years time.

I got a free one last year... I love the Dirt 100, I'm cynical about reviews in general and Dirt reviews in specific but for some reason if it's in there I just accept it as divine writ. Maybe because they like lots of my stuff ๐Ÿ˜‰

do you not find a lot of the stuff is just the same as last year? I bet reverbs and specialized bikes are all over this issue again.

Reasonable to think that a lot of the best stuff from last year is still the best, no?

So nobody has received it yet then?

Maybe it's a typo and should be 5th Dec?

Will buy it again this year but do laugh about some of the products included.

Spend the most with dirt - get the products included: Simple!

With 26" wheels? How could it be? ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes subscribers get them, no sign of it yet, and hopefully this year [edit could have been the year before it's all a blur quite frankly] they will have stayed clear of ballrooms for their photo shoots. ๐Ÿ™„

Am unconvinced tbh. I've been dubious about Dirt- the way they went gung-ho for the Cane Creek Angleset while ignoring the Works Components kit frinstance (they did a 2-page spread on how the as-yet-unlaunched standard steerer one would save bikes from the bin and change the world, when Works were already selling one, for half the price). And the website coverage of Superstar stuff reads like Fruit wrote it.

But last year's 100, I don't remember seeing much Intense or Mondraker advertising in the mag, or Morewood, or Devinci or Labyrinth. Stanton have had a few but the Slackline was in last year and I don't remember them advertising before that. The suspension companies have pretty even coverage despite it being the year of Fox sucking. Sure there's a Reverb but also a KS- exactly what you'd expect really.

(all discounting response-ads in the 100 mag)

They emailed me and advised subscribers should get copies from 30th October so they are resending mine. Might be worth getting in touch as sounds like some are missing theirs.

Hint; If you have an ipad, DO NOT get the digital subscription. I haven't been able to read any mags in months. Reckon I've seen around half of what I've paid for.

As above, though I was sure the ad in my last mag said November 25th. Must have subconciously known I'd be disappointed so my brain decided to switch a few numbers around to save me the anguish. Isn't it usually end of November it comes out anyway?

Hmm, i suppose it could be equal amounts of advertising and bro-love. Seems that way at Dirt and i am sure the guy behind Stanton wrote for them at some point.

Who knows, i am still waiting for my copy though!

They had a proper go at Fox over the 2013 forks. There was no advertiser favouritism in that.

I don't think the coverage is paid for by any means, but there are certain products I could confidently predict being in the Dirt 100.

Shall we see how many we can get right between us?

I'll get the ball rolling with Renthal handlebars.

Ooh, OK. YT Dues obviously. Wicked, Spicy and Alpine. Camber Evo and Enduro 29er? TLD hat, Reverb and KS Lev, Superstar wheels and pedals, new Pike. Some Straitline stuff, inexplicably, and some heavy Easton stems. 2 Shimano brakes (Saint +1, Avid Trail XXXXXXXs, and a Hope seemingly picked at random). Raceface thick/thin chainring

Are there any 26 inch products in there? I'd be maazed if there are, the way Jonesy has been banging the big wheel drum (even claiming that the big DH teams are behind the curve due to many still running 26ers).

What about Cane Creek shocks? He seems to have fallen out of love with them a bit.
