I got a sizeable ding in my rear XM719 while doing a little DH on the W2 trail. ๐
Im off to the Alps soon and was wondering if this ding/dent will be a problem? Should I replace the rim? Can I just bend it out? I'm running tubes a perfect seal is not needed.

I've bent dings out of my 719 quite successfully using an adjustable spanner.
Advice I had on here was to be decisive as you do it, don't bend and re-bend the metal.

I wouldn't bend them out at all, you'll only be making the edge weaker.
if it doesn't affect your tyre bead staying put just leave it

Yeah last thing I want to do is work harden that rim!
I'm just a bit worried about it acting as a stress concentration while hammering it down some alpine gnarr-core trail!
