Briefly what is the differnce between these three?
Is it the case of the higher the number the lighter and more expensive they are?
Thanks

The first digit denotes quality. The second two denote the internal width. The quality is determined by the production process, alloy used and the method for joining. Higher quality rims I think are pinned and welded. Lower ones are pinned and I think glued?
An 8 denotes the rim is UST compatible.
So yes, the higher the number the higher the quality and therefore the lighter and possibly stronger the rim will be.
